1.Access

Q: What is the nearest metro station to the Hotel? How long is the walk from the station?

A: The Nearest station to the Hotel is ‘MitsukoshiMae’ Station. 
A total of 9 lines from 6 different stations around the hotel provide access to various attractions and venues in Tokyo.

Q: Is there a convenient way to get to the hotel by train while carrying large pieces of luggage?

A: Please refer to Figure 1 that we recommended for using the following elevators. (Walking time is for reference only)
*Please note: Due to situations such as construction, elevators may be temporarily out of service.

Q: Are there any pick-up services from the airport or stations?

A: Unfortunately, we do not offer airport/station transfer service to and from the hotel currently.

Q: How can I get to your hotel from Narita/Haneda airport?

A: There are various of transportation available including train, monorail, express bus and taxi.

From Haneda Airport to the Hotel:approximate 20km.(From Haneda Airport to Hotel Rakuragu)

  1. Keikyu Airport Line: From Haneda Airport Station, take the Keikyu Airport Line (toward Nihon Medical University, Indohata) and get off at ‘Ningyo-cho’ Station that is within walking distance to the Hotel.
  2. Keikyu Airport Line: From Haneda Airport Station, take the Keikyu Airport Line Limited Express (toward Natita Airport) and get off at ‘Nihombashi’ Station that is within walking distance to the Hotel.
  3. Monorail+Metro: From Haneda Airport Station, take the Tokyo Monorail (toward Hamamatsucho) and get off at ‘Hamamatsucho’ Station, then walk to Asakusa Line ‘Daimon’ Station and get off at ‘Nihombashi’ Station that is within walking distance of the Hotel.
  4. Taxi: Please contact the taxi company for details of the distance and cost by taxi.

From Narita Airport to the Hotel:approximate 64km.(From Narita Airport to Hotel Rakuragu)

  1. Keisei Access Express: From Narita Airport Station, take Keisei Narita Access Express「Skyliner」 (toward Haneda direction) and get off at ‘Nihombashi’ Station that is within walking distance to the Hotel.
  2. Taxi: Please contact the taxi company for details of the distance and cost by taxi.

From Haneda Airport to Hotel Rakuragu

Q: Do you have parking?

A: The hotel does not have any parking available. Temporary parking is available on the street at the entrance. If you need to park for a long time, please use the ‘日本橋本町駐車場’ that is quite near and convenient. Further information please refer to the website below.

2.Reservations

Q: Is there a cancellation/modification charge?

A: Modifications and cancellations are free of charge up to 2 days prior to the check-in date. Cancellations/modification made within 2 days of the check-in date will be charged the full room rate as a cancellation or amendment fee.

Cancellation Charges:

  1. No-show: 100%
  2. Cancel / modify on the check-in date: 100%
  3. Cancel / modify the day before the check-in date: 100%
  4. Cancel / modify 2 days before the check-in date: 0%

Q: When can I Check-in and Check-out?

A: Check-in time: after 15:00;(after 24:00’s check-in is acceptable) Check-out time: before 11:00.
* The Hotel entrance will be locked after midnight, ring the intercom on the side of the entrance at arrival.

Q: Can I request the early check-in?

A: Our check-in time starts from 15:00. If you arrive before the check-in time, it’s alright to store your luggage at the front desk.
If you have special circumstances that require early check-in, please contact the hotel in advance.

Q: Can I extend the check-out time?

A: From 11:00 on the day of check-out, delays of more than 30 minutes will be charged.
* Please note that delays beyond 14:00 may be refused depending on the hotel’s reservations on the day. For more details, please enquire at the front desk.

The late check-out charges are as follows:

  1. Extend to 11:30-12:30:¥2,000/per room
  2. Extend to 12:30-13:30: ¥4,000/per room
  3. 13:30 onwards, 100% of the daily room price/per room

3.Rooms and Facilities

Q: What kind of room types does the Hotel have?

Q: How many floors does the Hotel have? Is there an escalator?

A: The hotel has 9 floors, each floor has two rooms (4th and 9th Floor has only one room per floor). The ground floor is the lobby and the 2nd to 9th floors are the guest rooms. The escalator can directly reach the guest rooms on each floor.

Q: Does the Hotel provide towels and amenities?

A: Complimentary provisions in the Hotel are towels (bath towel x2, hand towel x2, face towel x2, bathroom mat x1), toothbrush set, shower cap, razor, soap, comb, cotton set, slippers, bathrobe, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
*Pajamas are not provided.
*Separate provisions for kids include the slipper, mini towel, toothbrush set.

Guest rooms are also equipped with kettle, hairdryer, mini-fridge, emergency flashlight, shoe horn, odour-removing spray, brewed tea bags and coffee bags. Some rooms with balcony are equipped with mosquito repellents.
*Please note that in order to create a peaceful and comfortable resting atmosphere, this room is not equipped with TV set.

Q: Do you have smoking area?

A: All rooms and public spaces are Non-smoking (all types of tobacco such as cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, hand rolls, etc.), and there is no smoking area in the hotel. Please use the public smoking area near the hotel and ask the front desk staff for details.

Q: Do the rooms have showers?

A: Each room is equipped with a separate shower unit and is separated from the sink.
*Please note that there is no hot spring in the hotel, and there is no bathtub in the rooms.

Q: Do you have a laundry service?

A: No, there is no laundry service, but next to the Hotel within 3 meters the public coin laundry room is 24-hour available. The laundry room offers washing and drying services using coins or mobile payment.

4.Payment

Q: Any other fees I need to pay when check-in except the accommodation fee?

A: Yes. In Tokyo, in addition to the accommodation fee, the hotel will charge you an ‘accommodation tax’ as stipulated by the laws of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The accommodation tax in Tokyo raised since October 1, 2002. *Please visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau website for details.

Q: How are accommodation fees can be paid?

A: Payment by credit card, mobile payments are accepted in advance or at the hotel for the accommodation fees.
*Cash payment is not accepted for accommodation fees.

Q: Can I have the receipt of the accommodation fees and accommodation taxes.

A: The hotel can provide the bill and the receipt after payment.
*Please note that receipts for accommodation fees and accommodation tax receipts will be provided separately.
* If you require a certificate of accommodation, please contact us. We will issue a certificate of accommodation to the guest when check-out. (Receipts without the name of the recipient, or receipts requiring the name of the recipient such as ‘superior’ will not be accepted).

5.Food or Restaurants

Q: Do you provide catering services?

A: Sorry, the Hotel does not provide any catering food and drinks (bottled water, etc.), and tap water from the guest room is potable. The Hotel does not have a restaurant.
However, guests can order take-away food to the hotel, but please note that the take-away staff is not allowed to enter the hotel, please pick up the take-away outside the entrance.

Q: Any restaurants is near the hotel?

A: Within 6-10 minutes’ walk from the hotel, there are COREDO Muromachi, Ningyocho and Nihonbashi shopping districts, each of which offers a wide variety of Japanese, yakiniku and Western food for you to choose from. For more information, you can follow the hotel’s official website ‘Topics’, and our Instagram account ‘hotelrakuragu’, which constantly share delicious restaurants and activities near the hotel with you.

6.Surroundings

Q: What are the sightseeing attractions around the hotel?

Q: Are there any convenience stores near the hotel?

A: There is a 24h 7-11 convenience store about 2 minutes‘ walk away, and a Familymart Convenience Store and a Maruetsu Supermarket about 4 minutes’ walk away.

Q: Are there any banks/ATMs nearby?

A: There is a Mizuho Bank and an ATM about 2 minutes’ walk from the Hotel towards to Kobuki-cho, and SumitomoMitsui, SMBC, Keiyo, and Saga Banks and ATMs towards Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, as well as ATMs in the convenience stores around the hotel.

7.Services

Q: Does the hotel have staff who can speak English?

A: We will endeavor to deal with guests who speak a foreign language. All front staff can communicate in English/Japanese, and we can also provide service in Russian, French, Nepali, Italian and Spanish so please feel free to ask.

Q:  Can I leave my luggage before check-in and/or after check-out?

A: Guests may temporarily store their luggage at the front desk before check-in or after check-out, please keep the luggage tag safe.
*Please note that cash and valuables are not permitted (please refer to the ‘Hotel Rakuragu Rules of Use’ for further details of what is not permitted to store).

Q: Can I send my luggage or parcel to the hotel before I arrive, what are the procedures for this?

A: Only in the case that Hotel has been contacted beforehand and has agreed to accept such custody.
Packages for guests with reservations and guest who are staying at the hotel will be held at the front desk. Please inform the Hotel of the items to be sent, the name of the recipient, and contact information.
* Please note that cash and valuables are not allowed to be sent by post (please refer to the ‘Hotel Rakuragu Rules of Use’ for further details of what is not allowed to be sent).
* The hotel will not be responsible for the costs associated with luggage posting.
